Since 2017, Access facilitates church planting through medical care. We partner with Independent Baptist national pastors and missionaries to provide unreached people groups with access to the Gospel. Medical missions is meeting people where they are, feeling their pain and finding a cure, then leading them to Jesus Christ.
It has been said, “Necessity births ingenuity.” Therefore, it is relevant that missionaries purposefully seek great means to respond to the greatest need of the present day, that of man’s eternal salvation. During His ministry on earth, Jesus Christ healed the sick, and, in so doing, He prepared individuals to receive Him as their Savior.
Mission Statement
The principal aim of Access is to promote church planting as a result of individuals accepting Christ as their Savoir. While healthcare teams provide patient care, evangelism teams present Biblical salvation in Jesus Christ. The two complementary teams work together to extend the scope of missions.
Vision
The vision of Access is the implantation of one autonomous Independent Baptist church within reasonable walking distance to the total population of Côte d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast).
Values
The core concept of Access is caring for the individual both spiritually and physically. Values of importance include integrity, compassion, quality, and resourcefulness. Our overall goal remains unchanged and is simply to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ during each Access team.
